Archaeological exposition "Uncovering the past"
The second floor of the museum houses an archaeological exhibition entitled "Uncovering the past". The majority of the artefacts on show come from pre-war archaeological excavations which were carried out by local archaeologisits and museum workers. It is a review of everyday objects such as earthen-ware vessels, tools made of stone and flint, ornamentation, clothing, personal accessories etc. We also have a collecion of clay cinerary urns made by an ancient civilization which once lived in Lebork and the Slupsk Lands.
The material remains of human activities from a time of which we have no written record are presented in chronological order.
